Default The QX70 is treading into minivan territory.

Does anyone else think that the QX70 is starting to look a bit like a minivan? I know its not a minivan, but with the amount of people it can carry and the way it is styled, it really is starting to look like one.

The QX70, the closest you can get to a minivan without actually being in a minivan.

Not even close, I think your thinking about QX60...

QX70 is based on the same platform as the Nissan 350Z/G37 coupe. It competes directly with the Porsche Cayenne, no Grand Caravan can make that claim

QX70 is a performance SUV for the cool moms of the world

the QX70 is far from that, for a very long time the FX/QX70 has been a very sporty SUV, it's one of the only Infiniti SUV's that can very soon have an IPL version.

If there's any Infiniti SUV that's in Minivan Territory, it's the QX60

you clearly don't know what a qx70 is if you think that it comes close to a minivan or is anything like it in any way.

it would be a good idea if Infiniti makes a Minivan tho.

The QX60 has been the only Infiniti vehicle to increase sales last year so maybe an Infiniti minivan would do well according to what you guys have said.

From this picture, the QX70 doesn't look too minivan-ish but it still looks like a hulking large vehicle. I kinda expected the QX70 to be larger and uglier than the QX60 simply because the name had a larger number in it.

It is only from the rear when it has a similar physique as a minivan but once you move up front its a different story.

Reports are out that the QX70 will have more interior space than the FX, which it is replacing. A Nissan exec said, "I think we put a little too much emphasis on exterior styling on the current FX."

I wonder how this expansion of interior space will translate to the exterior styling?

Interesting, I wonder how much more space, I hope it's not much because this needs to stay as a sporty SUV. One day I want to see it compete with a high trim BMW X5!

IPL QX70 is a must

saying this is a disgrace to the FX / QX70

It certainly drives better than a minivan that is for sure. It looks tit will be getting quite the update in appearance soon though. Much more aggressive. So that should take away any minivan-like qualities that it may have had.
