My QX70 2014 Model has a navigation system with middle east map. I took the car to Europe and have difficulty to load the Europe map, its says media not recognized. currently I dont know if this is a problem with the DVD media itself or if the firmware of the navigation system refuses to install the map.

I think the navigation system is produced by Denso. No support or response from them. I spoke to HERE maps, and they vaguely said I may want to try a firmware restore procedure. The Infiniti dealer may have a (red?) recovery DVD to reprogram the navigation system firmware. Can someone confirm this?

Question: Did someone in the forum manage to change the regional maps on the QX70 navigation system from one region to the other (in my case installing Europe maps) and how did you do that?

The program version shown on the system is X1G22051
