Default Wont eject disc / error

Hi guys,


Just picked up a 2015 QX70S last week and have run into my first problem already. Last night I was attempting to play a DVD so I engaged the parking brake then inserted the DVD. It immediately told me to "eject the disc" so I pressed the eject button and it did not eject. It beeped 3 times and then again said "eject the disc" which it has since done many times as I've been trying to eject the disc.


After searching online I can see others have had this problem, albeit with previous model years. Some suggested holding the eject button for 60 seconds (that did not work). Others said a few days later it randomly ejected on its own (yet to happen for me). Also mentioned was disconnecting the battery then trying again which I haven't done yet.


Anyone else run into this problem yet?

It appears there aren't yet many members on this forum and so no replies.


Anyways, to update, I took the vehicle to dealership and they confirmed the head unit has malfunctioned. They have ordered a new replacement from Infiniti and will swap probably next week. Ah the joy of full warranty lol

Head unit was replaced and all is good. Case closed.

Glad to see you got the issue resolved, often that's what it comes down to, replacing the unit. Just imagine if your QX70 was a few year older and out of warranty, head unit would probably cost you a couple thousand out the door with labor!

Aside from that, how has your QX70 been running?
